Oh, I’m so sorry I had to leave you behind today. You would have loved the muck. Or been caught up in it? Melded with it? If that’s what you want to do, just let me know. I want to keep you with me, but I want you happy.

Why did I go into the mud and muck? Oh it was fun! Someone named Duke, asked me to, along with Ehno. I know, I didn’t know them either. But they needed someone to help them find things in the forest and swampy areas, and we both know I do my best to know my way around.

Mostly we found herbs and things. It was very rainy, but I don’t think a Druid would mind any kind of natural weather, so I didn’t either. No, I promise, I didn’t mind at all. I even played in the mud for awhile. No, don’t get jealous, it was nothing like how we play.

Oh! And we met a Zuk! Zuq? Zook? I’ll have to ask. It’s name is Fingers, and we had an excellent talk. Not as good a listener as you, but it was interesting. We maybe even started treaty talks for harvesting. Can you imagine? ME, helping make a treaty! And for something like harvesting? Maybe that will help me in my quest to become a true Druid. But if not, I’ll keep trying.

And do you remember that alchemist? The one we thought didn’t like me? He was so pleased with what we brought that he gave me truffle shavings for my food. OOOH and I’ll be getting a special dessert at some point – yum!

I hope I travel with them again.
