The next morning our adventuring group was a little tired. I will need a full day to completely recover over the yesterday’s sortie into the ghoul’s caves. Dume’ would like some information about her family and asks if I knew anyone who may know her grandfather, one of the first settlers in Stanneousberg. So, I took her to the apothecary the halfling “grandmother”. We had a very nice mid-morning brunch. The old halfling was a great host and gave Dume’ great information, I think. I would like to stop by the Halfling’s home for unofficial visits in the future. We then went to the church of the light and talked to them about Dume’ symbols in her grandfather’s book that matched the symbol of the church. Dume’ thought the symbol meant celestial and the church was using the symbol as the god of the light. We talked to the acolyte and he got very nervus about our questions. So, he allowed us to speak with the head priest, who confirmed the symbol they use is for the entire pantheon of gods but only the god of the light as reviled itself to us. After the day of information gathering, I started think there were several people that mad packs with very power entities that rule over the six monstrous categories. Dume’s grandfather seems to have made a pack with the native sylvan and moved with them to the far north.
